Waaheeaayy!
No i havnt recieved any correspondances from the galleries or museums which i contacted concerning the stuffed rabbits/hares but what i have found is a reasonable taxidermist. As i have mentioned previously, my grandfather is a gamekeeper and it occurred to me that he must have contacts of that nature. So he does! so during the first week of the easter holidays i will be able to pick up my very own stuffed wabbit, which i have caught and killed myself. It feels to me that because i have killed the rabbit the link between myself and my work is stronger.
I am unsure at this point whether to carry on making my smaller sculptures now that the stuffed rabbit has come through for me, this is something i will have to discuss with my tutor tomorrow.
I have also begun preparing the apple tree to place whithin the stuffed rabbit, thankfully it wont be as messy as my sculptures!
